Dennis Yu. This time the mutual dick sucking backfired
Nov/096
There is loads of talk about this Dennis Yu guy.
He came and infiltrated a completely fucked up and evolving industry.
If you are new to internet marketing you may have noticed all the incestuous masturbation between a select group of people.
Look around the internet.
Actually look around because this is one crazy industry and there is a few loud and very misguided voices.
There is a kind of internet mafia that defends certain charachters and i have to admit i am part of it and i defend people who i know i really shouldnt but they have such big names that you are loath to say anything against them because you get jumped on.
Dennis Yu was and is a smart cookie and he infiltrated the mafia to get people like shoemoney to promote him and introduce him to others.
He is getting a lot of hassle from people because they have been made to look a fool.
Shoemoney is apologising a lot because he got caught out heavily.
I remember when shoemoney was just this little pleb that trolled around digitalpoint until he showed he had a reasonable aptitude for pay per click and a few big names got behind him to push his profile because they wanted to learn some pay per click skills from them.
offtopic
There is another part of the shoemoney story that would make you laugh your tits off but i will keep that quiet like we all have done for years.
One day it may happen and then the real story will come out.
back on topic
I know the names of the people that pimped him and he is now a lot bigger than then because he ran with the publicity they created for him.
I cant mention the names because of course they are `friends` of mine and part of the internet `rentacrowd, mafia, click or mutual masterbators` or whatever you want to call it.
If shoemoney wouldnt have handled himself as well as he did or had real charachter this could have been those big names posting `shoemoney tricked everyone` but it worked out well and he managed to keep it all running to be one of the most famous internet marketers.
This post is not about shoemoney and i am not a shoemoney hater so please dont read it like that but he has been the most vocal about dennis.
Even if i was i couldnt post it anyway because the mutual masterbaters would jump on me.
Dennis Yu just couldnt handle it and he messed up.
There are many more people like Dennis that you think are succesful and seem to do the business but in reality they are just good at blogging a lot and know the right things to say.
I personally know some big names in the industry that blog really well and spend a lot of time doing it and they are pretty much living on very low incomes.
One guy thats uber famous and respected hardly makes enough to live and i know because he is always asking me for work.
There are some really smart guys in this industry that really do know their stuff but unfortunately they dont even have blogs and they wont be stood on stage like the publicity whores at the moment.
I would blog the truth about this industry and show you the real side of it but to be honest i only blog because i feel i should and i have some link building software to pimp.
Yes dennis could have messed up a few parts of the internet for a lot of people but someone has to.
I completely destroyed some verticals because i sold a concept to a business and they ran with it to completly fill it.
A few people have seen it and they copy the concept so the entire serps are competely dominated by a few techniques i sold out for a chunk of cash.
Nothing personal to peoples business that were affected and they should have diversified.
Look at his speaking list and look how people thought he was hot and wanted a piece of him.
Nobody stays on top forever and he just didn’t stay there very long.
Read more here, here, here, here and here.
This is just some quick thoughts and when i read it back it may not make much sense but i really cant be bothered correcting it.
888.com Online Casino Serp Analysis - Part 3 - Domain Age and Site History
Nov/091
Please excuse the format of this post because i was typing as i was finding different things over different days.
In part one of the online casino serp analysis we looked at Onlinecasinobluebook.com and its backlinks to see why they were currently number 1 for online casino in google.
The conclusion so far is that he breaks every google guidline there is and uses mainly blackhat seo techniques.
We found many reasons why he shouldnt be at no.1 but still havent worked out why he should be.
Next is 888.com the online casino company based in Gibralar and owned by Cassava.
888.com seo team were in Isreal last time i heard and they created a lot of publicity because were were very black hat.
I remember all the search engine spam they were responsible for many years ago but they either got better at hiding it or stopped doing it.
888 Holdings is a publicly listed company so they need to be careful what they do because they have lots of shareholders.
So with keeping the same format as part 1 we can look at the domain history and everything the same as onlinecasinobluebook.com.
Later on i will develop a kind of checklist in a spreadsheet that i/we can just fill in the blanks and post up.
Ok, Same as post 1.

Whoa hang on there!
I just did the 888.com in the header check because it was in a list and thought it would show the header 200 ok
I never thought i would see a 301 redirect
If you look the location is
Location => http://www.888.com/
so if we look at www.888.com
HTTP/1.1 302 Moved =>

??????
Location => http://www.888.com/default.htm?sr=293897
so if you type 888.com it 301 redirects to www.888.com which is a 302 using their affilate link to track.
The search engines list the www.888.com so they see a 302 redirect every time.
I am confused here so i need to refresh my memory on 302 and the concequences and just think about this for a minite.
I remeber matt cutts talked about redirects a while ago and listed quite high in the search engines for 302 redirect is
this nice long explanation.
http://www.mattcutts.com/blog/seo-advice-discussing-302-redirects/
That was back in 2006 and i cant read anymore of his crap and tattle because it makes we want to vomit.
So if you go to http://www.888.com/default.htm?sr=293897 it goes to www.888.com
And i notice this site is a frame.
everything goes to www.888.com so any internal page links dont exist.
this site appears to be almost a one page site with him architecture at all.
Looking at the current google cache there is no actual site.
http://209.85.229.132/search?q=cache:9Xsv4L3zdnQJ:www.888.com/+online+casino&hl=en&strip=0
when you view text only it shows a bit more and shows there is some links to other pages lower down on the site.
http://209.85.229.132/search?q=cache:9Xsv4L3zdnQJ:www.888.com/+online+casino&hl=en&strip=1
In the footer there is some content and links.
This site has loads of pages but they are all pretty much advertisements and the site architecture is just awful.
i am bored of doing the server stuff and i have seen enough.
- crazy 301`s and 302`s that dont really make sense.
- No real content visible to speak of
- frames and silly stuff that we have moved away from years ago.
I think if i was building it or working on it i would try and get away from the framing and build a real site with real navigation but there is more to it than seo.
888.com had lots of media buys, affiate and offline traffic so they will probably need the framing for the affiate tracking and many other things.
It wouldnt be as simple as just saying `lets get rid of it and change everything` because there will probably be many knock on effects that would need to be adressed.
normally people look at a site that isnt ranking and try and find things to point out that need chagnging.
on this site we have loads of things that we would point out to stop it ranking but it ranks.
Maybe they could rank better if they didnt use the frame but they seem to be doing ok
forget the rest of this post and maybe i will revisit it later after i have done the backlink check because thats the important bit.
update about 20 minites after i posted this ,, few things i forgot
they are on telecity

Online Casino - Serp Analysis - Part 1 - Domain Age and Site History
Nov/0913
I sent out a quick email asking people what they would want to see in the syndk8 forums.
Most of the replys were the usual `content scraping` and `blog farms` but one introduction that said he wanted to learn more made me think.
What if we use the power of numbers to rip apart the top 10 of a competetive google serp?
What if we could see exactly what the big guys and big brands were doing to get and keep that top 10 position.
What if we deconstructed the web site by site, link by link and keyword by keyword?
So to start with i am going to deconstruct the top 10 of online casino in Google.com
This is a snapshot of what i see when i search Online Casino without quotes from my spanish ip on Google.com.
Date: 03 November 2009.
i will keep to this list even if things change s we can keep some uniformity.Top 10 Online Casino Sites - Find the best online gambling sites

What about if we deconstructed them?
Ripped them apart and checked out everything about them?
I havent got a clear plan of how this is going to work yet but we can just make it as we go along.
Lets start with domain age and history.
Using Domaintools subscription ($250 a year)

So we see its a pretty old domain and its registered to 2019 so he has invested a few $ in securing it which aparently ranks as a trust factor with google.
The first whois record i can find is 2005-04-10 and its been the same owner and pretty much the same whois details.
Apparently google watches a site when it changes ip because it could have been bought and may become very spammy.
2422 is a pretty spammy host and you would think with no.1 for online casino he would have it on a dedicated ip and his own box rather than
http://whois.domaintools.com/72.32.147.137

So he is hosted on a usa ip.
Looking at wayback.org
http://web.archive.org/web/*/http://www.onlinecasinobluebook.com
The site has pretty much not changed since 2003.
So to sum it up.
- Domain Age.
- Length of registration.
- Consistency of whois.
- Registrar History
- Nameserver History
- Ip History
- Whois History
- Reverse ip lookup to see if they are on a dedicated ip or in what could be considered a `bad place`.
Lots of black hat seos and search engine spammers host their stuff on a shared ip so they can hide amongst the crowd. - Country of IP for geolocation targetting.
- Wayback the domain to see the changes and visible history.
We will stay to the topic of deconsructing this domain before we move on to 888.com
Next post will be on page and then the following post will be offpage.
Looks like their will be 3 posts per domain so 30 posts and then we can compile the data and analyse it.
I have 10 listed.
What have i missed and what can i add to the list on history that i havent already?
I am going to be putting a ton of work into this and sharing some stuff which i probably shouldnt so give me some link love and send this page to all your seo contacts so we can really get many opinions and make sure we dont miss anything.
Stuck this in your blgo sidebar or somewhere on one of yur cleaner sites.

What are Russian Partnerka?
Sep/098
In my effort to blog a bit more i have been reading around and most of the internet is trash but i learned a new word today.
Partnerka
Anyone whom has an interest in black hat seo will see that the russians and eastern europeans are very active on the darker side of the web.
Some have reported that the Russian Mafia are involved in SEO and Black Hat SEO which i dont doubt because i know the Italian Mafia are.
Back some years ago it was the Germans that were the heavy web spammers and google.de was all but destroyed on every search.
A group of germans setup an adsense clicking fraud ring and i am led to believe that some of them are still in jail which sort of scared a lot of the germans along with the bmw.de scandal.
When webspam in germany went quiet there was a sudden rise in russian webspam which i think is unrelated.
The eastern europeans get a lot of unfair critisism because of the `unethical` ways they use in ranking sites.
To give you some backround on eastern earope.
A wage can be $200 a month and things are still pretty primitive in a lot of areas.
A webspammer can support a family of 20 on his/her webspam earnings.
In this economy earning $200 a day is nothing to someone in a westernised place like uberly expensive Oslo or Southern Europe but to a russian wretch in a slum in the middle of moscow it goes a long long way.
To support these agressive eastern europeans there are affiliate networks called Partnerka who allow you to do pretty much anything to bring them traffic.
They allow almost any kind of traffic and really only care about the amount of sales you can bring.
If you come across the spam links on a forum or blog and get annoyed just remember that those links may be earning enough to feed a family of 20 so just click away and give them a break.
Playing with an email scammer to see how they work
Jun/096
Like everyone else with an email i get loads of scam emails saying i have got an inheritence or won the lottery.
I like to study everything on the internet so i thought i would reply to see what happens.
Below is the start of the email chain and i will keep adding to it if it continues.

Hello,
I have emailed you earlier without a response. In my first email I mentioned about my late client whose relatives I cannot get in touch with. I am compelled to do this because I would not want the bank to push my clients funds into the bank treasury as unclaimed inheritance.
This mail is written and intended to solicit your assistance to be presented as NEXT OF KIN to my Late Client since you are a foreigner and only a foreigner can lay claims on this inheritance. The Governing Body of the Bank has contacted me on this matter and I am yet to provide the Next of Kin to lay claims to the Fund. Under a clear and legitimate agreement with you, I shall seek your consent to be presented as the next of Kin so that my late Clients’ Fund will not be Confiscated by the Bank and pushed into the bank treasury as unclaimed bills.
For the sake of Transparency on this matter, you are free to make immediate contact for further clarification and explanation on this matter. I will need you also to reconfirm your full name and contact telephone number to ascertain the fact that I am dealing with the right person.
Thank you very much for your anticipated acceptance while we expect your prompt response to this matter as the urgency demands.
Yours faithfully.

Greetings in the name of God and Thanks for your urgent response to my email, as I told you in previous mail, my deceased client have been on my firm’s legal retainer ship service from the 24th September, 2001. In his assessment form he did not introduce any family living with him at that time in the United Kingdom, Only a part of his business and his origin. My firm has been representing him and his business in legal and allied matters up till the time of his death.
I want to let you understand that this is a deal, my client may not really be your relation but bear the same surname with you but what is important is for you to show interest and provide me with your information then I will present you as the next of kin with proper proof and back up. I am a man of honour and would never put my family name to shame because of money so you should know that I have verified all procedure and information even before contacting you to work with me on this project.
I have written a letter to the Bank informing them that a relative of my late client has inquired about his estate and it’s ready to make claims on them and the bank has no problem with that so long as I present the person with proof and legal backing.
I would prepare an agreement / memorandum of understanding between us so that we would be sure of what we are doing and for the security of the money even in the future. God knows I trust you wholly and entirely but I am only trying to make sure that our partnership is legal and that we will get what we deserve at the end of the transaction amicably.
To enable me commence the agreement and legalization thereafter, I will appreciate you reconfirm your info as follows:
Full Name, Contact address Direct Contact Telephone number, Occupation and age. Also specify an exact time when i could call to speak with you.
Once I get this info, I will speak with you and then commence the legalization of the paperwork. Feel free to call me on my number below for further clarification.
I look forward to a speedy co-operation from your side.
NB: You should know that 5M Pounds is a lot of money so a transaction of this magnitude should be kept top secret, my wife does not even know about this, Therefore, you must keep this transaction to yourself alone. You never really know who your enemy is.
Sincerely,

Dear Mr. Earl,
We have to work like one family with one mind and one spirit to achieve this transaction. I have given my whole life on this project and I have all it will take to make this successful. You don’t have to worry. Five million British Pounds is a lot of money and this has been giving me sleepless nights. I am really trying to make sure that I keep this transaction to myself as you can’t say for sure who is an enemy. My wife does not even know as it’s the best measure to avoid panic. I hope you understand what I mean and I hope you do also keep this to yourself. Security is the first measure to our success. I am in receipt of your info and I am beginning to build my trust in you. Always consult me before making any decision detriment to this project as two heads are better than one. This is a one in a life time opportunity and we should do everything humanly possible to protect the interests of our families even after this transaction has been consummated. Thank God you are God fearing and have a family like me too so I can say this meeting is ordained by God Almighty.
This is matter of trust, sincerity and understanding. Attached is the agreement/MOU binding us together, Print it out, Read through it, carefully point out your observation and comment on them if you find any but if it is acceptable by you, endorse your column and next to my signature on each of the pages. Thereafter, fax a copy back to me and keep one to yourself. I expect that you call me as soon as you receive this email if you need more clarification.
Once I get the signed MOU from you, I will immediately forward the application draft and all information you need to know about the deceased and the claim. God be with us.

Mr. Grey, I am not happy with your attitude towards this transaction. Now, i see you are not capable to handle this transaction from your side, You had better get a fax machine and scanner as you will be signing more documents to perfect this transaction.
I have put in all my efforts in this transaction and do not want any setbacks at all. You cannot expect to gulp in 50% of £5m Pounds as Manna from Heaven. You had better buckle up or i have no option than to find another person.
You had better let me know your stand.

The first ever Syndk8 Freeroll Online Poker Tourney was a great success
Jan/090
Even though i left it to the last minite to finalize setting up the syndk8 online poker tourney we had 30 register in time.
The game play was fast and furious from start to finish.
The top two winners won a subscription to my friend Rand Fiskin`s Seomoz tools site.
The results are here with me at position 27.
I really need to learn to play poker.
