This may be one of the last post on here because i got a funky new custom cms on https://www.syndk8.com
I am probably best focusing my efforts on that site because its going to be where the newbie tutorials are and the main bulk of the content.
We have loads of stuff going on to get this black hat seo industry back on track.
You can check out the site at https://www.syndk8.com and login with your forum username and passworld because the entire site and forum is integrated.
I may keep this, i may redirect it or i may delete it.

I am just updating the Autopligg Landing page design with a complete new design meaning i am writing new copy and i cant believe how i have changed.
I used to read the sales pages of the `gurus` and would just shake my head in disgust.
A little of the sick copy i am writing;

I cant believe i actually typed that out into a webpage and the really scary thing is i like the way it reads.
Time to sleep i think to try and regain some sanity and humility.

I cant find the words to express my amusement that some unknown guy called murray newlands is in the running for the best affiliate blogger of the year.
if this is the best of the internet, it is pretty true. the internet is pretty much at a low point now.

Blackhatworld.com currently experiencing a dos attack?

Blackhatworld.com has been up and down for about a week because of a suspected Denial of Service attack.
If you havent been to blackhatworld its more of a bum marketing forum.
They sort of do anything to make money and spend a bit of time trying to sell each other ebooks.
Right from the beginning i kept a very tight control of syndk8 and made sure nobody shared cracked or stolen software, talked about email spam or just generally acted like an ass.
There is limited controls for sharing stolen software in Blackhatworld and the only way to try and keep your software out of there is to email the admin and put it on the do not share list.
I am good freinds with the admin dave and we have a mutual respect for each other so i have no problem but some people do get really pissed off.
When we went through a spate of banning assholes Blackhatworld appeared either by coincidence or because they all needed somewhere to go when they we didnt want them.
Blackhatworld runs on Vbulletin which is pretty much an insecure software because its corporate and the hackers like to mess with the big companys.
I believe smf dosent get too much trouble because most of the hackers boards are run on it and is a pretty secure software if there is such a thing.
Blackhatworld has a pretty loyal but also devient following and if they dont put in any kind of dos mitigation in they stand to lose a lot of members because they will just setup alternative fuckwit boards where they can sell ebooks to each other.

When the Obama campaign was in full steam the Barackobama.com website was very different from how it is now.
When you hit the site during the campaign it had a call to action for almost everything and chances were you did something they wanted you to do just because it was executed so well.
Its been a while since Obama got his hands on the USA and i dont really keep up with whats going on because its none of my business really.
Likewise with the UK i dont keep up with the politics because its no longer of my concern now i dont live anywhere near the UK and for the immediate future i dont see myself returning.
One thing i do keep an eye on though is the British National Front because those pricks can cause annoyance sometime.
I check out their website occasionally and they have just had a redesign (shame because it closed the xss holes in the old one).
You have to put them in tabs to see the extent of the plagiarism.

Fantomaster says Your avatar is an iconic trademark and i agree

I was just reading this tweet by Fantomaster and he said something that i really love.
Back when i first started on the seo forums just after i discovered the internets i noticed quickly that a persons avatar really changed my attitude about them.
Fantomaster is speaking just about twitter but it goes across the entire webz.
You need to keep consistency and have a unique avatar and keep consistency across the web so you make yourself a recognised brand.
I remember i had a lot of respect for randfish and and he looked so professional and a lot was to do with the avatar.
I didnt know it was John Stewart from the daily show and until i did some promotion for Seomoz by getting him featured in Newsweek i had never seen a real picture of him.
I used to have consistency across all the forums so even if my username was gone people would recognize me immediately.
I can honestly tell you that consistency of avatar and sig can give you a massive edge over most.
But a disclaimer.
All of these people that are posting personal details everywhere with this twitter and facebook crap are in for some trouble in the future.
I dont use the tips i give now because i got in some trouble some years ago and had to remove a lot of the branding and hide many things.
So be warned its a great tip for legitimately building a brand but can backfire in a big way if you are not careful.

Bompa just posted about the new real time search from Google.
I have been playing with twitter recently for some reason previously unknown to me so i thought i would check out the casino serps in Google.
I didnt expect them to have realtime search on that vertical because the last time they were showing news and blog posts me and Tarquin hammered them so hard there so was more spam in the serps than real results so they removed them.
I havent checked wether i am seeing personalised results yet but i thought i would do a spammy post on my Syndk8 twitter account.

I did a competition in the labs forum where all the people who bought our software talk and get support.
The competition was to do a support video for autopligg and i messed up on the prizes.
prizes were
1. $300
2. $100
3. Lessons on making videos from the guy that did the Seolinkpro video.
Someone commented in the thread that the no.3 prize was worth a lot more than the first prize.
I messed up there and i thought it would be ideal for the 3rd prizerunner up to actually learn but i see the errors that made them third place.
I am changing the competition rules and also suggesting we get the guy that did the seolinkpro video to give tips and help with making the videos.
So i will extend the competition to anyone who has our software.
Do a support video for the new serpscraper, autopligg or seolinkpro or even the free wordpress commenter and you can actually get lessons on video media.
Just register at the Syndk8 Forums and you can enter and learn from Tarquin how to create awesome videos.
Maybe you dont have a licence code to enter.
No problem because in the next few days i will add a subscription section to syndk8 so we pay can pay tarquin for his time and those that havent bought syndk8 software can learn as well.
